A Word from our Executive Director:

Welcome to the New Life Web page!

If you have landed here taking the time to read these words, it is likely that you are looking for hope… direction… someone to come alongside… something to grasp onto. Maybe it’s the chains of chemical addiction or alcohol or some other life-controlling issue in your or a loved one’s life and you recognize you can no longer do it alone, you’re ready for someone to show you a new way.

There is Hope! Jesus Himself declares in Luke 4:18, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour”. That is good news! The power of the gospel at work.

My wife (Tina) and I have four adult children and two grandchildren. We have experienced God’s faithfulness in our marriage and lives! We have also experienced the transforming power of Jesus Christ personally. As part of our journey God called us for a time to New Brunswick where we spent three years of

intensive training in the operations of a faith-based residential recovery campus. With a burden in our heart to minister from the Bay of Quinte area, we returned to our home province of Ontario in 2020 and joined with New Life to share this Hope and the transforming power of the Gospel. Together with our team here in Quinte we believe that Jesus is still alive and setting the captives free today and He can and will do that in your life!

New Life Women’s Home was established on the shores of Lake Ontario over thirty years ago by Reverend Larry Snider and his wife Kathy. Our mission has grown over the years from ministering to girls to women and will continue to grow as the Lord has given us a vision for much more! Currently our residential program is in the process of re-locating on a new property with new site and facilities being planned that will meet the needs for years to come.

In the meantime, we continue offering support, mentorship, and resources to women and families in need throughout Eastern Ontario. Currently we operate from offices at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Trenton, Ontario.

If you need help and hope, call today! The office number is (613) 394-3341.

If you would like to partner with us in the re-launch of a new campus, your one-time or monthly support is greatly appreciated and will help us stay strong during this time of transition. To DONATE, please click here.

If you would like to join the journey and stay updated on monthly happenings with our ministry, please CLICK HERE to subscribe to our e-list. Thank you for standing with us as we seek God’s will for this ministry in the day’s ahead.

Sincerely,
