Who We Are

New Life Women’s Home offers a Christian-based residential program for young women aged 18 years and over, who have life-controlling problems with drug/alcohol addiction, abuse (physical, sexual, emotional, etc…), depression, eating disorders, self-harm, and other compulsive behaviours.

At this time, our residential program is closed as we prepare to launch a new residential facility. In the meantime, we continue to provide help to both young women and their parents as a national resource to ladies in need. Please feel free to contact us for further information @ 613-394-3341.

New Life Women’s Home is a registered Christian non-profit that relies on the generous support of individuals, churches, and businesses.

Your monthly support or a one-time donation is appreciated.

We help women with life-controlling problems

Some of the life-controlling issues that women may face in today’s world are drug and alcohol addiction, sexual, mental, and physical abuse, and mental health illnesses such as bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, self-harm, and other compulsive behaviours.

Our view is that with loving and professional mentoring and God’s help, each life can find the hope and help needed for a better tomorrow.

History

New Life was founded by Larry Snider and his wife Kathy in the fall of 1988. Larry was a troubled youth who rebelled against his family’s standards and went his own way.

After graduating from a program called Teen Challenge, Larry and his wife, Kathy, became house parents at a farm for boys. Larry went on to become a pastor and felt God calling him to start a ministry for young women in Eastern Ontario.

Today, Larry serves as an advisor to the re-launch team of the New Life Women’s Home.

From some of our Graduates:

"The New Life home helped me so many times. I would not be the woman I am if they had not helped me when I was a mess. God Bless this home."

Penny - Graduate of New Life Women's Home

"This home saved my life! Praise God for the beautiful staff, volunteers, donors, and scenery. This home managed to show me a way of life I never knew existed. I will forever be grateful - God is good all the time!"

Angelica - Graduate of New Life Women's Home

"Before New Life, I was in a dark spot in my life. Coming to the home brought light and hope. I know now that I have a bright future and have more confidence than I have ever had before."

Hollie - Graduate of New Life Women's Home
